Established in the mid 80's, Japanese brand The Real McCoy's is a reproduction label of the highest caliber, specialising in creating painstakingly detailed replicas of classic American military, sports and workwear attire. We here at Tres Bien believe that 'enthusiast' is too weak a word to describe The Real McCoy's founder and president Hitoshi Tsujimoto. He is a rare combination of both archivist and artist meaning that every single The Real McCoy's product, be it a small Naval Watch Cap, 12oz Cloth Sweatshirt or M-65 Field Jacket, is crafted with the utmost care and attention. Furthermore, all items are made in Japan using only the finest materials ranging from deadstock fabrics to heavy cloth spun on vintage loopwheel machines.

Over the years The Real McCoy's has amassed a cult following and many vocal admirers, including American reconstruction specialist Darren “Dr.” Romanelli, who has enlisted the brands help on a number of high profile collaborative projects, citing their attention to detail and quality control as “beyond impressive”. Furthermore, once a year esteemed Japanese publication Free & Easy produces the Spec-Report magazine, an extremely detailed insight into the craftsmanship behind The Real McCoy's current product line.
